Majestic

I placed an image of an egret (taken by Ken Arrison) over an altered landscape photo (by Eileen and Doug Leunig). I ran filters on that composite image, printed out three versions, cut them freehand into uneven strips, and built the new image from gluing down and layering up the strips. I added in some colored pencil, handmade paper and gold leaf to finish the piece.
