A composite image of an elephant and a Manet painting were filtered, cut into strips and combined to form the artwork. Elephant in swing image was created by Mihaela Rosu. Background image is the painting House in Rueil by Édouard Manet on display at the Old National Gallery in Berlin, Germany; in the public domain. The city names placed in the final layer are some we visited on a 2024 trip to Europe where I saw the Manet painting.
